Vicki Maguire

Vicki is passionate about supporting leaders to lead well.  Her focus is on developing leadership capacity, whilst maintaining a positive approach to wellbeing.  Vicki is an ICF accredited coach; she uses the skills developed in her training to engage in transformational coaching for leaders.  Vicki created and now produces and presents the We Lead Well podcast on which she chats with headteachers and prominent educationalists who share their leadership wisdom.

Vicki was an English teacher for 23 years and a school leader for 16, ten of which were spent on senior leadership teams in three very different schools.  During her time working in schools, and in particular in her roles as Head of English, Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, Vicki recognised that the power of an organisation is in the relationships that are cultivated and how effectively the staff can work together as a team; this has fuelled her passion to work with leaders to create connection and collaboration.  After experiencing burnout in her role as a deputy headteacher, Vicki trained as a coach and leadership trainer so that she can support leaders to develop their awareness and take a more holistic approach to leadership in order to sustain long term leadership.
