Nick Edgar
Associate Partner
Nick is a passionate Mental and Emotional Health Advocate and is accredited by the ACCPH in Transformational Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy and is a person with lived experience of mental and emotional distress.
Both personally and professionally, he displays an ongoing commitment to his personal healing, learning and growth, continual development of mental and emotional resilience skills and he practices mindfulness and well-being techniques daily.
He has over 20 years experience of in a variety of primarily customer-facing management and leadership roles and as well as being an Associate Partner at Leading In the Now, he manages his own private coaching business and works in a freelance capacity co-delivering training programmes to peer support workers both within and outside of the NHS.
He firmly believes that personal and organisational leadership culture is anything but 'fixed' and inevitably hierarchical. Furthermore, with ongoing intention, commitment and support, he believes that leadership, organisational and personal goals can be achieved in line with increased well-being and happiness in the workplace rather than at the expense of it.
Nick is a keen football fan having represented England U18 Schoolboys and played the game semi-professionally at Stevenage Borough FC among other clubs. More recently, he has also previously volunteered as a coach and committee member of Gedling Southbank FC, a Nottingham grassroots club that won the National Charter Standard Community Club of the Year in 2016. He is also a keen musician and singer, having recently released an album and two EPs with his band, Ardency."
